The Philipstown Little League is ready to get back to playing ball. Last weekend, several parent and kid volunteers showed up at NHFD to help turn over and rake the NHFD Minor League infield. We could use a little more help raking the Major league field if you're available at about 500p this Thursday July 23 to pitch in.
But the most important aspect of our plans to get players back on the field has involved our thinking on keeping our children and families safe. In our Philipstown Little League Return to Play document, we have laid out our thinking and strategies for preventing/limiting the spread of COVID-19. We are using language, strategies, and overall guiding principles that can be found in similar plans used by Little Leagues throughout the region.
Please take a few moments to review our Return to Play plan. If you have any questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to share them with us by email or with a Little League Board trustee (Luz Bailey, Bo Bell, Doug Donaghy, Lee Erickson, BJ LeMon, Mike Meeropol, Annette Pidala, or Sal Pidala). As always, thanks for your ongoing support of your Philipstown Little League.
